Brad Cummings
Principal
Brad Cummings, Principal and Co-Founder of Monument Consulting, was welcomed to the entrepreneurial school of hard knocks shortly after college. After two years of following a passion (sports statistics) and being the third person in a three-person company, the Major League Baseball strike of 1995 effectively hampered his sports statistics company. During those two years, Brad quickly learned to adopt a 'do what is best for my company and clients' attitude to make his company successful. As the baseball strike was imminent, Brad again did what was best for the company: slashed company payroll by 1/3 - by leaving the company for corporate America.
Brad was lucky enough to join Capital One Financial Corporation, where he spent over seven years in a variety of analytical, operational, and strategic engagements. Under the tutelage of some of the finest analytical minds in the country, Brad honed his strategic, analytical, and process logic capabilities.
These are the skills that Brad carries forward to Monument Consulting. In co-owning delivery of recruitment solutions for Monument, Brad focuses on strategy, process, and metrics/success measurement. Brad also oversees all Finance and Operations. Since the firm's inception, Monument has realized explosive growth while building a diverse portfolio of outstanding clients and the RPO industry's most talented recruiting consultants. The firm has been recognized as an "HR Innovator" by the Society for Human Resources Management and as a "2007 Company to Watch" by the Association for Corporate Growth.
Brad holds a BSBA in Marketing and Management from the University of Richmond's Robins School of Business. Brad and his wife Tanya, also an entrepreneur, have two girls, Kennon and Blakely. Brad's community involvement has him on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters as Vice President and is President elect.
