Matt Aprahamian
Principal
Matt Aprahamian, Principal and Co-Founder, leads business development and is in charge of the strategic growth of Monument Consulting. Since the firm's inception, Monument has realized explosive growth while building a diverse portfolio of outstanding clients and the RPO industry's most talented recruiting consultants. The firm has been recognized as an "HR Innovator" by the Society for Human Resources Management and as a "2007 Company to Watch" by the Association for Corporate Growth.
Matt has been promoting the merits of HR outsourcing for over 15 years. During his tenure with ADP, Matt managed regional and national roll outs for the company's industry leading line of payroll, time entry and human resource management solutions. His primary responsibilities during his eight years included sales, sales management and corporate marketing within the National Account Marketplace.
During the technology boom, Matt took his business development and leadership skills to The Whitlock Group, one of Virginia's fastest growing technology ventures serving as the firm's Director of Business Development. After four years of engagement in some of the region's largest technology consulting projects, three fellow 'Whitlockers' formed Monument to evolve the concept of outsourced recruitment services. The primary relationships centered around the firm's Vendor Management Solutions then expanded to the RPO offering to fully support client's full talent acquisition needs.
Matt holds a BSBA in Marketing from the University of Richmond's Robins School of Business. He and his wife Susan have three children, Jack (9), Charlie (7) and Sophie (4). Matt also supports the Richmond community as a Board Member with the Central Virginia Make-A-Wish Foundation, a mentor to students at his alma mater, and as a Little League baseball coach.
